Privacy and booking terms

Who we are

Konstamar is run by the family who owns Konstamar Studio in Thessaloniki. We are responsible for the personal data described here. Contact us at info@konstamar.gr.

What we collect and why

• When you write to us: your name, email address, dates and message, so we can answer you.
• When you book: your name, contact details, dates and number of guests, to manage your stay. Greek law also requires us to keep booking and tax records and to report stays to the tax authority (AADE).
• Payments: card payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.

We use this data only to handle your enquiry or booking, and to meet our legal duties. We don't sell it or use it for advertising.

Who else handles it

• Beds24 (Germany), our booking and calendar system.
• Stripe, for card payments.
• Our email provider, for messages you send us.
• Airbnb and Booking.com, only if you book through them; their own privacy policies apply.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don't lead to a booking are deleted within 12 months. Booking and tax records are kept for as long as Greek tax law requires.

Cookies

This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or tracking. Fonts are served from our own site. The booking and payment pages of Beds24 and Stripe may set cookies they need to work. Links to Google Maps take you to Google's site, where Google's policy applies.

Your rights

You can ask us to see, correct or delete your data, or object to how we use it, by writing to info@konstamar.gr. You can also complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (dpa.gr).

Booking terms for direct bookings

• A 30% deposit is charged when you book.
• The balance is charged automatically 14 days before arrival.
• Cancellation is free until 14 days before arrival, and the deposit is refunded. After that, the full amount is due.
• Payment is by card, through Stripe.
